Q.Sometimes the pitch of a Patch will not go up as high as the current settings of the Pitch Bend Range for the Patch. Why does this happen ?

A.The Pitch Bend Range of a Patch can be set from –48 to +48. In some cases when bending the pitch upward certain Patches or certain Tones within a Patch max out at a certain point of travel of the Pitch Bender. This is caused by the particular Wave or Sample being used in certain key ranges within the Patch. Be advised that all Waves (Patches) will respond to at least +12 for the Pitch Bend range, however, any settings higher than +12, particularly when applied to notes in the mid to upper registers of a patch, may have unexpected results.
