USB Audio Interface

Q.I've connected a digital device to the UA-1EX and recorded some audio from the device into recording software on my computer. However, when I play back the recorded audio, the playback speed and pitch is different from the original audio. Why is this?

A.This is probably the result of a sample rate mismatch between the external device, the UA-1EX, and the recording software. To remedy the situation, make sure that they're all set to the same sample rate. Check the following sample rate settings:

  1. The sample rate setting of the external device that's connected to the UA-1EX's DIGITAL INPUT jack.
  2. The UA-1EX's SAMPLE RATE switch setting (a DIP-type switch found on the underside of the unit).
  3. The sample rate setting of the recording software running on the computer.
