Q.How does the RMP-3 generate sound?

A.When you strike the RMP-3's mesh head with sticks or brushes, a pickup converts the vibrations to an electrical signal. This signal, along with the sound of the RMP-3's built-in metronome, is sent directly to the headphone jack.

The pickup is very sensitive, and extremely subtle nuances can be heard as you strike different areas of the mesh head. As desired, the head's tension can be adjusted using tuning bolts.
