  • The volume value set to a song phrase could not be reproduced on playback.
  • AR-3000R could not stop playing when it received a ST command (Halting Playback/Recording) with RS-232C/TELNET control while an audio phrase was fading out.
  • AR-3000R transmitted ST commands (Halting Playback/Recording) for both L and R channels through the RS-232C/TELNET when a pattern phrase playback stopped in dual mono mode.

[ Ver.2.02 ]
[ Bug Fix ]
The following bug was fixed.
  • High-traffic broadcast packet on your network system might result in an error on a TELNET control or an AR-3000R behavior. It was corrected by adding a process to filter packets not used for controlling AR-3000R.

[ Ver.2.01 ]
[ Improved functions ]
The functions in the control with RS-232C/TELNET was improved as follows.
  • You can also control the paused state of recording by using the PE command(Playback Pause/Restart Playback).
  • The AE command(Starting Time-Stamped Recording) and the TT command(Time Stamp Settings) set the updated date and time of the phrase file to the Time Stamp information.
[ Bug Fixes ]
The following bugs were fixed.
  • When the EQ setting is ON, a noise might occur on a timing of starting a playback/recording of an audio phrase.
  • Because of the bug handling linefeed code incorrectly, a correct command might be handled as an error in some TELNET clients.

[ Functionality added ]
  • You can record and play WAV files directly.
  • The menu item “WAV” has been added to the type of phrase convert.
  • Card Convert

  • The RS-232C/TELNET commands support WAV files. The parameter "WAV" has been added to the following commands: AE/RM/RC/SU/RU/CO.

NOTE when using ARE-3000 with AR series Ver.2:
We plan to publish the ARE-3000 Ver.2 in the middle of November, 2010. You will be able to edit a CF card included WAV files on the ARE-3000 Ver.2.
There is the following limitation to the ARE-3000 Ver.1.05.
  • You cannot edit a CF card included a WAV file made with AR series Ver.2.
    * You can edit a CF card without a WAV file.
    * A CF card made with ARE-3000 Ver.1.05 is usable on AR-3000R/200R/200S Ver.2.

[ Ver.1.06 ]
[ Functionality added ]
  • AR-2000 Compatible Mode added to the RS-232C.
Although RS-232C implementation at the AR-3000R is upper compatible with as of the AR-2000, behavior of flow control by handshake or other command response are slightly different and incompatible with it.
This update introduces new operation mode to absorb the differences so that AR-3000R can be used like AR-2000.
    * Please refer to "The AR-3000R RS-232C Reference Manual" for the details of AR-2000 Compatible Mode.
[ Bug Fixes ]
The following bugs were fixed.
RS-232C/Telnet Communication:
  • Playback a phrase by PLB command (start playback, assert busy out during playback) causes a continuous assertion of control out signal during playback instead of one second assertion just after the playback.
  • In some cases of operation, automated sending of CC:"Card Insertion Status" or ST:"Stop Playback" might fail to handle RS-232C control code stx: "Start of Text", such as not sending it via RS-232C or wrongly sending it via Telnet.
Telnet communication:
  • Sending TQ:"Time Stamp Request" command to a phrase which has no time stamp via telnet causes a sending back to telnet of RS-232C control code stx: "Start of Text", 02H which is inappropriate or nothing to telnet.
  • Issuing a command via telnet after issuing an EDIT command via RS-232C might cause a problem that the prompt "AR>" might not be displayed after sending ACK message "OK".

[ Ver.1.04 ]
[ Improved functions ]
  • An error might occur on MIDI recording if you connect a equipment that the transmission interval of MIDI Active Sensing is slightly longer than the recommended value of the MIDI standard to MIDI IN.
It is corrected so that it can be possible to record normally even if such an equipment is connected.
[ Bug Fixes ]
The following bugs were fixed.
  • When you delete a file by FTP, other files might be accidentally broken.
  • When you record the phrase by the TELNET/RS-232C control, OK/ACK might have returned before stopping recording after receiving the ST command to stop recording.
  • You rarely ware not able to exit FTP mode dor a minute after data transfer, depending on the FTP Client type and recording situation.

[ Ver.1.03 ]
[Improved functions]
  • In rare instances AR-3000R might freeze with the timing which stops recording phrases with TELNET control. Regardless of the timing of stop processing, it has been corrected in order for stop processing to be done.
  • AR-3000R might send incorrect "%%" command which was the progress value of card operation, when editing command was executed with RS-232C/TELNET control. This trouble was corrected. But there is no problem in operation of editing command.

[ Ver.1.01 ]
[ Improved functions ]
  • In rare instances, some phrase playback might have been ring-modulated.
